I'm really sick of hearing the constant drone of sirens in the Nations Capital. Isn't that awful? It seems no matter what speech or event is going on outdoors in DC, you always hear those blaring sirens...

And she was happy to report that Reagan didn't call Russia an "evil empire" after the cold war was over. No offense, Gorbachev, but I'm not going to allow the USSR or any of its remnants to be the darling of my eye like Judy. Today's Russia might not be evil but yesterday's USSR was.

The day Reagan was inaugurated began with rain but just as the swearing in ceremony began THE SUN CAME OUT. It's been sunny the last few days but just as the were approaching the hearse it began to drizzle. Makes one think

Reminds me of the story of the ceremony at the National Cathedral following 9-11 tragedy. Barbara was seated next to BJ so that Bush 41 wouldn't have to endure him. Later Bar commented, "Here my son is President of the United States, and I still can't get a decent seat."

I do know that on most Fox News coverage last night, they were going over the Washington and later California services specifically why the President would be in Washington but not CA. They pointed out that the funeral is in Washington but the internment is in CA. They kept pointing out that the CA ceremonies are mostly for those in the West. A shot at Kerry?

Which piece of music is this?

"Fox just showed Margaret Thatcher awaiting the procession in the Washington Cathedral."
Did anyone else notice that Mrs. Thatcher curtsied (just before she left) at President Reagan's coffin the other day in the Rotunda?
To: al baby
Yeah he and Hillary are there. CNN showed them laughing and hugging people in the vestibule area, whatever it's called.
