How sad is it when homosexual mentors will not be banned by the organization responsible for the welfare of the children, but by the insurance company that will be sued when the "unthinkable" happens.

What does this say about the priorities of the Big Brothers and Big Sisters?

This is impossible. It must be discrimination.

Haven't these greedy insurance companies heard that homosexuals pose no higher risk of abuse of children in their care than do heterosexuals? And that, even if some abuse takes place, that it is entirely normal, natural, and healthy, and frequently beneficial to the child?

Insurance woes because of homsexual hires = money problems.

The concern is lawsuits.

The answer that is found will NOT be to restrict access by homosexuals to little boys.

We'll be told the real answer will be to decriminalize man/boy sex; lower the age of consent; or to reduce the liability of bbsa by legislative action. Just watch.

This is an interesting event. The gay lobby may have just hit a lobby more powerful than the gays will ever be. Insurance companies exist because of discrimination. The insurers have been discriminating at-will for two centuries.

There is nothing the gay folks can do about this one. The government courts cannot start telling insurers who they have to insure and how much to charge. If the courts try, the entire industry will fall hard.

Pastor Jeff Proctor-Murphy from Asbury United Methodist Church said Olmstead's views are outdated and foster "spiritual violence ... the justification or sanction of religious hatred."
Proctor-Murphy said the half-dozen or so Bible verses that condemn homosexuality are "outdated and archaic," noting that, "at one time, the Bible was used to justify slavery and the subjugation of women.

From the church’s website:

Having said that, there are some basic, commonly held theological assumptions at Asbury. For example, we are not Scriptural literalists. We believe that the Bible is like a window through which we see God and better understand ourselves - and not a static, inerrant textbook.

Matthew 7:
21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

Proctor-Murphy is in for an ugly awakening.

Homosexual Agenda Ping - Here's the Rest of the Story.

Or, what happens when homosexuals are permitted - nay, invited - to be "mentors" of young kids and adolescents.

Result? Destruction, all over the place. Hopefully, Big Brothers and Sisters will either shut down, thus protecting children and young people from the predations of homosexuals, or better yet, they will change their policy and screen homosexuals out.

It would be a shame to shut down an organization that AFAIK has been very helpful to children that come from less than perfect homes, providing them with role models and a "big brother" when they needed one. But better to shut it down than provide a hunting ground for sexual deviant predators.

Let me know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.

P.S. I wonder if homosexuals will now sue the insurance companies....

The BBBS organization should be commended in recognizing the need to provide fairies with access to clean, fresh young meat. After all, what is more important here, keeping aging faggots as disease free as possible or providing children a wholesome upbringing. Can't we charge these insurance outfits with a hate crime for experience rating their premium levels?

Serves 'em right for having turned down that one guy (in Washington state?)
over concerns that he was too involved in church activities.

What do insurance companies know about risk? I've read in many respected MSM newspapers that homosexuals represent no more risk to adolescents than heterosexuals.

The obvious solution is to force the insurance companies to provide coverage to Gay Friendly mentoring organizations at the same rates provided to those that are backward and homophobic.

Better yet, maybe some of billions in federal funds designated for "HIV/AIDS prevention" can go to subsidizing the insurance. That would certainly be legit, as who better than these organization's mentors to instruct the delectable young adolescents in practicing Safe Sex?

When politicians will not do what is right and push dangerous PC agendas, our capitalistic system can often do what is right!
