It's better than the treatment we got many years ago when my son bit into a national brand bean and cheese burrito and spit out a piece of bone. I wrote the company and their response was that it was made by someone else and their label was used (like a subcontracted piece of food). They basically shrank from any responsibility for what was in the product with their name on it. We began making our own bean and cheese burritos at home. Where this ties into our thread is that oftentimes when we buy products at the store, we really have no clue who really makes it or what is in it.

In the old days when Mom complained she always got free stuff! Once in a bottle of pop there was fragmented glass and she got weekly delivery of a case for a year!!! That was a real treat back then, for we rarely had pop, and then it was either gingerale or 7up ;) Anyone else remember how different Dr. Pepper used to taste? Or that the only diet pop was Tab?

I would make my own after that, as well! Bone? What bone? Whose bone? Of course, the company couldn't tell you. Yikes. Today there are plenty of eager and willing members of the plaintiff bar waiting to take on such cases...Unlike many cases they represnt, your incident is valid, though.
