From earlier this morning. I am reposting because it says so much.




I happened to catch this cap this morning.
I thought it very touching. Showing up in
full dress shows great honor and respect.

The 'Chief' used the feather wand his is holding
to bless. IIRC, the blessing is to the 4 corners,
which represent the natural elements: earth, wind/air,
fire, and water.

Do we have any idea of the tribe that outfit represents?

I'm ignorant in doing any such identification...but am curious as I grew up
with a fair number of Native American classmates in Oklahoma.
