Posted on 06/10/2004 2:28:07 PM PDT by alisasny

Alot of dignataries are now showing up to pay respects. McCain, Guiliani, Gorby, Karzai, etc.

Cspan has live coverage. Bush expected at 7 but could be earlier? He is then going to visit with Mrs. Reagan.

Guard changes about every half hour at .28 and .58 of the hour. One is going on right now.

Good to see you too, as always.

Yes, I can't make myself stop watching. It is comforting, somehow, as others have said.

"A fish out of water, or a Senator out of booze?"

LOL! Okay, okay! I was trying to be polite to the ol' boy.

I have been a Bush-watcher for so long that I actually KNOW when he's about to lose it. Just watch his mouth. If it begins to tremble a bit, you know that he is going to be forcing back tears a moment later. He was at that point just now.

It's such a relief to have the Oval Office occupied by a President with honor and grace again.

Hopefully I won't have that problem tomorrow. Yes, I found out to my surprise that I'm apparently essential, and will be working tomorrow. Me and the Deputy Director.

But the boss will still be gone, so all his TV's are belong to me!

How much do you want to bet there are political calculations going on right now at the Kerry Compound over the photoop benefits of a kerry appearance at the capital.

He sort of purses his lips right before the bottom on trembles. I think he cries easily like my husband. I trust a man who cries easily.

Not only may Laura have to go through this someday, President Bush will have to go through it for both his parents. I am sure these thoughts are in their minds right now. : (

"He was at that point just now."

He certainly was as he walked into the rotunda. It caused me to burst into tears, again.

And won't he be surprised when he finds out tomorrow how irrelevant he is to the Reagan family?

I would have guessed Kennebunkport but with Robin being buried in Texas, it is a no-brainer.
