I have been a Bush-watcher for so long that I actually KNOW when he's about to lose it. Just watch his mouth. If it begins to tremble a bit, you know that he is going to be forcing back tears a moment later. He was at that point just now.

He sort of purses his lips right before the bottom on trembles. I think he cries easily like my husband. I trust a man who cries easily.

All I know is that I would have lost it there. And even if I was prez, I wouldn't have cared...presidents are people too.
But, it probably was better that he try to keep a lid on it right then for the sake of everybody else there.

Yes, he was clearly about to lose it. He unashamedly admits that he is an emotional guy. Bless his heart!
