Posted on 06/10/2004 2:28:07 PM PDT by alisasny

Alot of dignataries are now showing up to pay respects. McCain, Guiliani, Gorby, Karzai, etc.

Cspan has live coverage. Bush expected at 7 but could be earlier? He is then going to visit with Mrs. Reagan.

Guard changes about every half hour at .28 and .58 of the hour. One is going on right now.

President is due at the Rotunda approximately 7:00PM, will visit Nancy at the Blair House after that, I believe. The viewing will continue until tomorrow morning.

btw--they have not been halting the lines completely for dignitaries including Gorbachev today.

It has to be very soon because they're filling the room.

I was so afraid they'd clear the room, but that's just not President Bush's way.

I do pretty good until I see the military salute

I know what you mean. I don't think I have seen any military in uniform not salute as they go by.

Thank you for these amazing photos. What a testament to President Reagan's character & leadership that the Former Premier of our greatest mortal enemy would come to pay his respects and offer condolences. It speaks volumes.

This picture of Michael Reagan is almost too much to bear. He loved his adopted father beyond measure.

My sentiments too -- no more talking heads -- prefer the silence.

I wonder if the people in the Rotunda knows what's going to happen. They can't bring in radios.

I'm sticking with C-SPAN too ... no talking heads (although if there has to be one, Brit is my choice) and no cluttered screen.
