Isn't he also tied closely to the GREEN Party?

Wouldn't it be great if, right when he touched the casket, Reagan had pre-arranged to have a recorder play, "Mr. Gorbachev, take down your hand!". Just a macabre attempt at humor.
To: ThanhPhero
Some of the liberals are trying to spin it that Reagan was the one who came around, rejected conservatives and worked and trusted Gorby who then won the Cold War. They give Gorby more credit than Reagan. Weird.
To: Neville72
RR's most famous words, "Mr. Gorbachev...tear down this wall!"
man reprimanded in that quote now visits Reagan's casket in humble memoria. Amazing.

Regan is gone.Abortion remains. You do the math.

I thought Gorby seemed to really be paying a real and heartfelt tribute to RWR. More genuine respect than shown by Kerry.

I missed it! I have been anxious to see him all week too. I hope Hannity and Colmes will replay it tonight. I did just catch Sen. McCain at the viewing.

You are right. I wouldn't want to take anything away from this moment, but for the past couple of decades Gorby has been a major player in the NWO movement, working with Mary Robinson and the clintons for worldwide Family Planning (i.e. abortion).
I hope he will indeed repent. But he has not been a force for good since he left his post in Russia.

I, for one American, will honor Mister Gorbachev when he passes. So will I. Thank God he and Reagan were leaders at the same time.

It's a hell of a tribute to a man when his defeated enemies come and pay their respects at his funeral.
In the former lands of the Soviet Empire, Reagan will always be regarded as the Great Liberator.

I'll see what I can find. It was on one of those cable shows a couple weeks ago. I remember because it kind of shocked me.

MHGinTN said:
"He was reagan's partner in changing the world. " I very much agree. There were critical points when Gorbachev could have taken a different approach and attempted to maintain the iron curtain with Russian tanks. We may never know all the reasons why, but that did not happen.
