Isn't it amazing that Iraq is now free and has a president?

It is such an honor and a blessing that Iraq would pay their respects to one of America's most beloved leaders.

We defeated communism, we WILL defeat terrorism. We are Americans.

I have left the TV on C-Span since 0630 and just catch parts of it coming in and out of the house doing chores. I've seen several of the dignitaries and their entourages and I did catch Senator Frist and the new Iraqi interim President Ghazi Yawer. However, the most touching scene that I have seen today, was when Deputy Sec of Defense Wolfowitz escorted a young military man (I think Army) into the rotunda. His body had been ravaged by war wounds...his left arm amputated just below the shoulder...the right hand amputated to mid forearm. He walked with a pronounced limp, and he had scars on his forehead and on the back of his head. He stopped at President Reagan's flag draped coffin and pulled himself up full attention and saluted....that's when I lost all control of emotion. I hope a lot of people saw that today.
