GUIDE TO JUNE MUNICIPAL RUN-OFF ELECTIONS
Please find below voter information for the June run-off elections in the following counties: Travis, Williamson, Bexar, Tarrant, Fort Bend, Collin, Lubbock and Tom Green.
TRAVIS COUNTY & WILLIAMSON COUNTY
Austin Community College Board of Trustees Run-off, Saturday, June 19
Marc Levin for Austin Community College Board of Trustees An attorney, Levin serves as YCT's Director of Government Affairs. He believes the current ACC tax rate is sufficient, supports affordable education, and rejects radical environmentalists' demand that ACC never build facilities over the Edwards Aquifer because of the presence of salamanders. Levin is endorsed by Attorney General Greg Abbott , Texas Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson, State Reps. Terry Keel, Todd Baxter and Jack Stick, Travis County Commissioner Gerald Daugherty, the next Congressman for District 10 Michael McCaul, former Dell executive Ben Bentzin, and the Circle C Homeowners PAC. Voters in Austin ISD, Leander ISD, Manor ISD and Del Valle ISD can vote in this election.
Early Voting Locations are the Seven ACC Campuses Early voting continues through Tuesday, June 15. Weekdays 7 a.m. to 7 p.m, Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday Noon to 4 p.m.
Saturday, June 19 Election Day Polling Places Please check your polling place as many precincts have been combined. Voting will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
BEXAR COUNTY
Alamo Community College Board of Trustees Run-off, Saturday, June 12
The South Texas Republicans have endorsed Dr. Bernard K. Weiner, stating, "We strongly urge all of you to vote for an individual who will be a responsible and serious steward of the Alamo Community College. Help elect a fiscal conservative who will do the right thing for the taxpayers and students of Bexar County." Weiner is a geriatric physician who has served in the U.S. Air Force.
