I was snuffly throughout, but when the soloist from the AF choir started singing my favorite verse from "America the Beautiful," I just lost it.
O beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

Hey, you mentioned E-town is that as in Elizabethtown, KY?
I have relatives there and I love that area. That is where my dad is from.

Great pics. I heard on the radio today a caller said he heard Couric ask Brokaw how long do you think this circus will last. I am not sure this is true, I am sure no one hear can stomach that witch so I am pretty sure no one saw this. If someone did please update us. Thanks and as always your humble FReeper

I am watching FOX right now. They showed a Tee shirt with a large smiley face and below it: "Imagine No Liberals"

My eyes teared up as I listened to the "Singing Sergeants" while driving home on the freeway yesterday afternoon.
They were superb.

Did you see when Michael Reagan stood at his father's casket and saluted? It was at the very end and I only caught a glimpse of it because Brit Hume was speaking. It was touching.

Thank you for your help and thank you for the photos from Wahington...we were playing a 'gig' and the place has a big screen TV with no sound...
I almost lost it so many times...
If there was sound I would have sobbed ....cannot sing and sob at the same time!

A wonderful performance by the USAF. Yes it was. That Chief (Master Sergeant) has a very, very nice voice.

I noticed Carl Levin, too.
They hated reagan, regardless of how much they deny it.
He dis-empowered them.
