She was reported as being at the Library with the family on another thread.
You bet!
Ronald Reagan had SUCH a Profound effect on the "Current Political Landscape of Europe & America," that to "Ignore" Mr Reagan's "Contribution" is to Ignore the ESSENCE of His Contribution to our Political Landscape!!
Doc
She was his political soulmate.
Seeing her courtsey was a sight to behold.
Heart breaking and yet, majestic.
My mother took care of my grandmother during her alzeheimers. It was rough. We don't have nearly the money they do, but my grandma was loved and cared for during her last days. She was 96 when she passed a couple years ago. She was ill for about 12 years.
Thank you for the clarification. I appreciate it.
Chirac is not comming as an intentinal insult. He is trying to say the USA is unimportant for france's concern.
It is just another way to spit at the USA.
there should be no more french anything products, wines, or cheeses in anyones shopping list.
I saw and heard her speak in San Angelo, TX of all places! She was great. I guess it was about 10 years ago too. She praised Reagan throughout her speech.
Jack Kemp was on FNC and was talking about how Reagan, Thatcher and Pope John Paul II all came into power from 1979-1981 and proved to change the world, how true. Three idealists who captured the majority's hope and sensibilities, only to be constantly attacked by an illogical leftist agenda.
The reason I say they were the LAST is because nowadays all puppeticians seem interested in is appeasing their contributors, the polls and the damned special interest groups. I doubt we will ever see a civil servant who is willing to follow the ideals that got them elected in the first place!
Let's raise a cold one for Dutch! He did what was right, not what the polls or the media thought was right. Rest in peace my friend, you have truly earned it!
No problem.
Now THAT is a Lady !
Your 23. That is one great pic. Thanks!
I found it on the Southern California Bouvier website- http://scbdfc.com/
The Reagans had a Bouvier named Lucky. If you go to the website and click "history" and then "Lucky" there are some great pictures of the Reagans with their dog.
Agreed.

Me, too!
By the way, I was lucky enough to get to see Reagan speak at an outdoors event in Great Valley, Pennsylvania back in the mid '80s. I felt at the time that I was in the presence of greatness.
Thank you for that link. Seeing him with the dog makes him 'real' to me. I love the picture of the HUGE Bouvier standing on a seat in the helicopter.
I'm thinking RWR may have been negotiating who was really in charge at that point:)
