I think Catherine invested her money quite wisely.

Have you seen Chelsea's post op pictures? Another wise investment. She looks pretty nice now.

Modo was on some C-SPAN panel over the weekend (she has yet another anti-Bush book coming out next month) and her face was so taut and shiny from chemical peels and Botox, that she looked like an over-polished apple. From time to time she'd throw her head around in a girly, coquettish gesture, which made her long hair swirl around her face, but then had to admit that the balding, lumpish, middle-aged jerk at the end of the panel...had been her copy boy!!!! He was the guy who wrote the Paul O'Neil book.

What is she...80?

Maureen Dowd is a bitter, spiteful, pathetic woman.

---I haven't really read Dowd since her Elian screed but for some reason, maybe out of curiosity, thought I'd check her out tonight-----

You and I both had the same mistaken impulse. Well it'll be another 5-10 years before I peer into a sewer again!

Whether he was right or wrong, Ronald Reagan was exhilarating. Whether he is right or wrong, George W. Bush is a bummer.

Twenty-five or thirty years from now (God willing, I'll still be around), I fully expect to open up the paper or fire up the computer and read the op-eds complaining about the conservative leader du jour and asking why he (or she) can't be more like good old Uncle Dubya.

Mo's all of a sudden praising the Reagans? This, when she's the one who wrote a front-page New York Times story accusing Nancy Reagan of cheating on Ronald with Frank Sinatra?

Oh, thank you for yet another illustration of how VILE the left was towards Reagan, and they are now acting like eerything was sweetness and light when he was president, and only evil George Bush has brought division to Washington.

I am not letting them get away with it.

Thanks! And I haven't forgotten Robert Bork, either. When the libs whine about the divisive tone in D.C., they should remember their disgusting smears of Bork.

Dear Maureen,
As your doctor, I again caution you to have the life
saving operation we talked about on your last examination.
Many others have undergone this surgery with astonishing
results. I have quite a list of patients, many of them in the journalistic field such as your self who have benefited
from this very necessary procedure.
I am currently talking to a well known Senator from
New York who desperately needs the very same operation
EVEN MORE THAN you do.
Please, PLEASE call my receptionist Catherin
and let us schedule the Bile gland removal you so desperately need.
Your Doctor
Tet 68
PS Michael seems very happy and says hello.
