To: Not gonna take it anymore

In other words, "Suck it up nancy, noble suffering is good for you."

Laura Bush has a long way to go before she has the class and wisdom of Nancy Reagan.

What an assholish comment. Get a life AR. Just because people oppose your utilitarian view on human life they are deemed inferior to those that do.

Nancy Reagan has her views, I oppose them 100% regarding embryonic stem cell research. It says nothing about her class or wisdom, it says she is wrong on this issue.

As for Laura Bush, I think she has class, wisdom, a good marraige and a nice family. That she opposes strip mining embryos is even better yet.

Laura and Nancy have an honest and respectful difference of opinion. Nothing at all wrong with that -- this isn't the Fascist Left who tolerate no dissent!

My advice to you is to look at your own class and wisdom before questioning as fine a lady as our First Lady.

Even as the article was written, Laura Bush did not say that, or make that implication.

You missed the who point and made it personal. Laura doesn't want to see babies killed for research.

One can forgive Nancy Reagan for ignoring her husband's deep commitment to unborn children in the hopes of curing her husband. She truly loved her husband and my heart goes out to her. Anyone else who uses President Reagan's memory to justify using babies as spare parts factories is at best a crass opportunist. At worst, well let's just say that decency prohibits e from using that sort of language here.
