Which chaplain was which? I liked the benediction, but it was clear the invocation was from a chaplain who was afraid of stepping on anybody's toes by being too clear that this was a prayer.

It was really wishy washy.

But, the benediction was wonderful.

Stick it up your ass ACLU.

It was about the wheel of reincarnation or something in my opinion. Perhaps this is what the family wanted said, but it was strange and new age to me.

Daniel Coughlin was the house chaplain whose prayer included something about globalization.

Dittos on the sorry House Chaplain's opening prayer. I'm sure God was impressed that he could quote that inane bit of ee cummings "poetry" about the wheel (?). And asking the Almighty to make us all "globalist" in our view, turned off at least half of the Republicans listening.

The very first preacher. He told everyone to bow their heads in prayer, then began a speech, quoting a poet, and also said something about wishing our country were more respected around the world....liberal crap, disguised as a prayer.
