I think I'll wait for a more reliable source on this.
Yep, if I were a top government source, I would seek out the Enquirer and let them know stuff no one else knows.... this doesn't smell right.
Time for concealed carry in all 50 states.
Is this a report from bat boy? Oh wait, bat boy is from world weekly news.
I hope the mods don't pull this thread.
Loftus was talking about this last night on the John Batchelor radio show. Not this specifically about the weapons caches - but he said that these arrests in those sweeps in Europe - that there would be news of similar activities in the US.
There are terrorist a lot closer than 25 miles...Daschle, Kennedy, Byrd, etc.
That would describe just about everybody. People with golden retrievers are especially suspicious.
"That is no longer true. The intelligence information we are getting and the finding of terrorist weapons here in the United States puts the threat of terrorism right at our doorstep."
And no doubt at least some of that threat has come here illegally across our southern border.
In the end, it will consist of a few shotguns and hunting rifles - which means - most of the state gun owners have "arsenals"
Anyone looking for firearms, bomb-making materials, and rubber boats is going to have a field day in my neighborhood...
I personally liked the Weekly World News expose' on terrorists masquerading as garden gnomes.
Their gonna hate me. I have a big house and live alone ... don't go out much and I'm quiet. Does that make me a terrorist ?
I know the eco-freaks will hate me because I consumed too much of Mother Earth or have a big eco-footprint
Like, duh. They're called Democrats.
Geez..after 9/11, how many Americans really think like this ?
The Enquirer has changed its tune from its heyday as a sleazy tabloid. I remember hearing about the change in focus a few years back, and being very skeptical. In fact, though, its now a lot closer to the N.Y.Post than to the Weekly World News. I wouldn't doubt this story at all.
Pretty much what you'd find in any American household.
Bomb making material? now what's that? An alarm clock, cell-phone, garage door opener? I assume there is a terrorist link?
During the top-secret raids conducted by the FBI, Justice Department, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and a special antiterrorism unit of the New York City police, the task force also found several maps and papers now being scrutinized at the FBI lab in Quantico, Va.
"Getting the weapons and the maps was a real coup," said the source. "The maps and papers show the terrorists have occupied safe houses in Virginia, within 25 miles of the White House.
Maps huh? What types of maps? The ones you can find at the 5 & dime store?
"We have been on to these guys for years. The terrorists are difficult to trap. They stay on the move and frequently change locations.
You got maps that point to their safe houses? "Difficult to trap?"
They must be Houdini...
Yup, this is from the National Enquirer.
I haven't bought a National Inquirer since they promised to tell me about the Queen of Englands sex life. I fell for it, I bought the paper & then they wimped out & didn't tell me.
This is actually a good thing, by that I mean the Enquirer publishing information(true or false) like this. Keep in mind the type of people that read this stuff, and then think about what they are going to do in November. While they may have been swayed up till now to vote for Kerry because he said the terrorist thing is overblown, they will more then likely vote for the one who they think might stop the sort of thing that their "It has to be true because the Enquirer says so", mag printed.
