If we only put RR on the $10 bill, the next time libs are in the White House they'll spite us by deliberately causing 10,000% runaway inflation, making the $10 bill worthless. Therefore, we have to put him on all our currency, paper currency and coinage alike! :-)
I don't want Hamilton replaced on the ten spot. Get rid of Grant on the fifty. But I really can't see how the democrats are going to allow this without some quid pro quo. I can see more PC currency in the vein of the sacajewea dollar.
We aren't canonizing Reagan, just putting a man who now is known nationally to have character on our currency. Not a bad idea. We have a nation that could use some edification in this area.
Betcha Nancy will say "NO!!! but thank you for the kind jesture" ... move along now ... nothing to see here.
I almost fell off the treadmill laughing when the elitist hackess Woodruff asked Norquist if the idea was fair to "President Hamilton."
LOL! Somebody has to get this to Rush, Hannity, etc.

Current report of currency in circulation by denomination indicates that $20 is the most common of the lower denominations in use, other than the $1.
On the other hand, dumping Hamilton from the $10 would be less controversial than dumping Jackson.
Would love to hear the Audio for this. Make sure someone like Limbaugh finds out about this one.
Dear Ms. Woodruff,
I am looking forward to seeing President Hamilton when I visit The Hall of Presidents at Walt Disney World.
sincerely :)
Yep. Also Jacksom opposed the forming of a national bank which ultimatedly became the Federal Reserve. He would NOT have wanted his likeness on ANY currency.
And make it silver instead of that cheap gold-like alloy that quickly tarnishes.
What?
Hey, now! Jackson opposed the spread of federal power more than almost and other early president. An insult is not needed here. There are other, better reasons to retire Old Hickory.
I vote to put President Reagan's picture on the $20.
Lincoln does double duty on the penny and the five dollar bill. How about we put Reagan on the five?
I dunno. I read somewhere else here that we should bring out a new denomination for Reagan. Either the $40, to recognize his being the 40th Prez, or the $25.
The Shoshone tribe were native-Americans.
I am not sure I agree with you. I think his Proclamation Regarding Nullification, December 10, 1832 was quite a statement of federal power. But really, have you seen the new artwork of Jackson? He looks horrible.
I have an old Buffalo Bill poster I bought at the museaum in Colorado, and it shows an indian with the caption "The American."
Hamilton wasn't a President. Not demeaning him but I think it could be argued that Reagan's courage in winning the Cold War trump Hamilton's accomplishments. But irregardless, Hamilton has received recognition for quite some time by having him on the $10 bill. I don't think a person has to remain on a currency forever.
