We will never forget.
I just hope that this outpouring of love and respect is helping to give Nancy strength and courage for the days ahead. My heart just breaks for her. As great as our pain is, I can't imagine how deep her grief must be. May the Lord bless her and keep her under the very shadow of his wings!
I hate to say this but when two people that have had the relationship they had and one dies the other soon follows.
Not ever.
It's a measure of how heavy this burden has been for Nancy this last decade, and how lonely it has been for her to carry it pretty much by herself.
And you are right, WE WILL NEVER FORGET!
I wondered about that, too. She looked so bewildered when the people applauded her at the funeral home.
She must have felt so alone. I cannot imagine a worse type of situation for a husband and wife.
And did you read this:

I was frankly stunned by this girl's writing. So moving. She has an article in this week's People.......I may just have to buy it.
you also have to remember the feverish hatred that was directed toward this man over the years.
What Joe said.
Thank you Mrs. Reagan for all the love and support and hard work. Thank you for all of the personal sacrifices you made in order to be there for your dear husband, our great President.
God Bless President Ronald W. Reagan and God Bless America.
