I recall that first photograph. I remember thinking how awesome she was keeping up with his long stride and in HEELS. :)
My favorite Maggie Memory-- she was speaking before Parliament or some such house (Brit politics confuse me)--and the traditional hectoring and jeering was heard from the commoners and aristos that make up the legislative body.
She seemed to be royally enjoying herself--giving as good as she got, a combative glint in her eye and a contemptuous sneer to her lips--thin lips in a bright maroon lipstick. I don't remember the subject of the debate--but I remember the lipstick.
