You really don't get it -- this is Nancy's call -- Clinton is an ex-President not the President.

When Ford wasn't asked to speak at Nixon's funeral, it was obvious that this was not a normal event with the way Ford became President.

President Bush #41 was Pres Reagain's VP for EIGHT years -- huge difference.

Surprised she is inviting the scum along with Carter who never had a good thing to say about President Reagan when he was alive. She has the class to invite them and the class to make sure they don't speak. You sure have a short memory because Clinton would take over the service and go on forever.

At the OKC Bombing Memorial dedication, Clinton was asked by Gov Keating not to make it a photo op -- he is not on the grounds five minutes and turns it into a photo-op. Clinton deserves nothing IMO and less if possible.

To make an issue of this as political when the Country and Mrs. Reagan is in mourning is just another example of the lowlife and why he shouldn't be allowed to speak.

Where were you when the DemocRATs wouldn't allow VP Cheney to attend the Wellstone funeral -- repeat attend not speak but attend? Now that was political.

This is the wishes of Mrs. Reagan and as a grateful nation we should honor her wishes and not say she should have Clinton speak when it is obvious that her and a host of Americans do not think it is fitting for an impeached President to speak at President's Reagan's funeral on Friday! Clinton disgraced the Office of the Presidency and President Reagan respected the Office of the Presidency so much he refused to even take off his jacket.

Clinton made his own problems so now he can stuff it and out of respect for Mrs. Reagan, Clinton and his staff should shut-up!

I agree with you. Clinton is the one who is politicizing the funeral, not Nancy. Shame on him, but he has too much already, his "shame inbox is 100% full and can't accept any more ".

I've been out all day, and come home to this. I find it unbelievable that we even have to discuss this abomination. And people in the media have the absolute GALL to say that President Bush has caused political division in this country.

MR. CLINTON, HAVE YOU NO SHAME?

As ex-President, Clintoon will have a role at the funeral, if nothing else, just to stand and sit when he's supposed to. He'll have to walk a half step behind GWB. I wonder how he'll handle that? He'll definetly make a spectacle of himself somehow. Not being the center of attention and all! The order of importance at the funeral will be Ronald Reagan himself, then Mrs. Reagan, the Reagan family, then Pres Bush. So that puts Clintoon in 5th place at most. He wont stand for it!
