You know what's really scary? The only way this could've leaked out is if Bubba okayed it. He sees nothing wrong with this kind of behavior. What a monomaniacal egotist. The guy's a loon. The country's luck we weren't worse off after 8 years with the Toons at the helm.
Dick Cheney filled in for Ford yesterday at the National Press Club's "Ford Journalism Awards". I thought then that he would not be able to make it to the funeral. Didn't he just recently have a stroke(?). He was in the hospital for something. Ford is 91. Birthday today or soon.
You'e probably correct.. I'd surmise too that the family will not want a state funeral in DC..the comparisons to the Reagan funeral would be inevitable..and the incessant eulogies of Ford as the "man who pardoned Nixon"
I can not remember when he's been last seen in public, so have been wondering about the state of his health myself.
