Keep him silent.
This #%#& never ceases to amaze me with his lack of respect for the office of the Presidency, and the people who the White House belongs to,us!
Superb stuff.
I don't really care for either of them politically but they were very respectful & classy, which was very nice to see.
I don't really care for them either, but was likewise touched by their respect and NOT NEEDING TO BE THE CENTER OF ATTNETION!
You're absolutely right... I hadn't considered it that way. Thanks :-)
Exactly! It was planned in 1981, for crying out loud!
Before most people in the country had even heard of Bill C. and Jimmah C.
And yet, it's all about them, somehow, isn't it?
I agree and whether he though this would help his setup with Knopf and that huge advance. This POS white trash gets what he deserves. His destiny is his character or vice versa.
Maybe he thought this would be his great coming out party after being pidgeon-holed as an profane oddity.
And according to another thread around here, Pelosi wouldn't let her office send flowers to the funeral home, nor would someone/whoever in her office allow the flag to be lowered one minute before the official word came out from DC to lower the flags.
These people sicken me.
I agree!
Way to go Nancy... I would have done the same thing! These two **icks deserved no better treatment, after their many "partisan" public comments denegrating the Reagans. What goes around comes around, rats. Deal with it.
Anyone who has cared for someone like Ronnie as long as she did has a core of steel.
You're absolutely right... I hadn't considered it that way. Thanks
I try and consider this too, she didn't have to have all this, it isn't FOR her it's for US! She could have opted for a private funeral, we would have understood.
I bless and thank her for this!
Thank heavens RR was far beyond knowing what was going on in the WH by 1998...
The picture of Elian took me back in time; it's still a shocking image. And for some reason that took me back to Waco. He incinerated those women and children; contravened Posse Comitatus without the slightest hesitation or justification.
At the time Waco occurred, I wasn't too alarmed about it. It took my Mother (an Italian immigrant, who graduated from what would be the equivalent of US 8th Grade) to point out what an evil it was, and what a dangerous precedent was set.
What a descent the Clinton years were. As George Will said, 'he may not have been the worst President, but he was the worst man who ever was President.'
I am deeply disappointed it isn't Bill's funeral, hopefully that is coming soon.
Proof that Nancy has taste.
"Reagan, Reagan, Reagan!! Everybody loves Reagan. What am I but a shadow in Rons perfect light? Yeah, thats right: I skipped all my national security responsibilities - not like it matters. He gets an 'A' as president. I got a 'C', but who cares that I brought it up from a 'D-' my first term. "
- Willie Jeff "Jan Brady" Clinton, America's first juvenile president.
No perverts allowed.

Those fools should butt out and let Nancy Reagan bury the husband she loved so much in peace. And let us pay our respects as we are able, too.
Seems like if they can't get TV time in the Cathedral, they sure as h*ll will scrounge for ink!
