So Drudge has a headline about it hitting 98 degrees in Denver. Does this scare the socks off of you?No, I can't say that it does.
This breaks a record of 97 set on this date in 1874.
I guess all of those cars polluting the globe 130 years ago warmed up the globe to almost what it is today.
So what's your theory of why it hit 97 in 1874? Horse poop?
To: thad5611
The question is why Drudge thinks it is newsworthy enough to make a headline.
[This seems like a chat topic to me-- hence, my comment.] I personally never go to Drudge's. To me he's just a guy with a site who will post whatever it takes to keep it going. Sometimes it's good stuff, too frequently it's just garbage. A visitor is hit with tracking cookies and other garbage for SpyBot or AdAware to remove.Too much trouble for the little bit of news that might be there.

We really need to examine why so many people here are attacking the poster. Are you folks angry that he is questioning the global warming hysteria?

Is it just me or does Drudge seem awfully obsessed with weather?
Hurricanes, tornadoes, snow storms, cold temps, hot temps, etc. Oh, and earthquakes too.

After hyping the so called abuse photos ad nauseum, Drudge decided he was saturated with such photos and would NOT be posting any photos of Saddam Hussein's torture of his citizens.
Agenda.....of course!

One of several "Sacred Cows" that elicit immediate knee-jerk reactions from some in the Freeper community.

I'm afraid that we will have to kill all of the cows. We may have to start killing off humans also. Beans well have to be banned! Al Gore and his group will have to be given the power of life and death. That will not be enough though. They will want more and more.

I think been_lurking is right.
Sheesh people. Drudge is questionable at best ... regardless of the fact that I check for headlines there daily; too many dumb people can't think for themselves and are swayed. Drudge zelots. Puh-leaze....

Drudge has always had a fascination with meteorological and geological events. Hence his many headlines about weather and earthquake phenomenon.
As regards the record temp, up 1 degree in 130 years? I'm not sweating it.

Congratulations, dighton! Of the first 16 posters, you're the only one who has any reading comprehension skills.

I'm thinking this must be an example of mob mentality.

Sheesh people. Drudge is questionable at best Are you suggesting that the high temperature in Denver did not in fact reach 98 degrees yesterday? Your comment seems to be unrelated to this thread which attacks Drudge's judgement for observing Denver's temperature yesterday.
To: my_pointy_head_is_sharp
Well thanks, but I wouldn't knock the others. Fuses are short, with a recent sad event and subsequent heavy troll activity.
