Since he won't be heard from or seen for a week, his poll numbers will go up.

As easily as Ronald Reagan made it to admire him, John Kerry makes it equally as easy to despise him. As he becomes more aware of the futility of his run for the presidency he and his toadies will become unbearable.

I'm sure Reagan was a captain in WW II assigned state side, and a Lt. in the Cavalry Reserves. Kerry is wrong again.

Thank you for posting this. I have been outright disgusted at Kerry and the RATs for their statements this week since they had nothing good to say about President Reagan in the past. Their comments are hypocritical and meant for political purposes only -- would bet behind the scenes they are not saying the same thing.

Sick and tired of Freepers I have never heard of with screen names I don't recognize telling the rest of us how they admire these RATs for their (hypocritical) statements. Not me -- I don't respect hypocrites.

Looks like I have company with this article. I haven't posted much since President Reagan died because what I want to tell these obvious pro-RATs posters where they can go by using the death of President Reagan to praise the RATs who are nothing but a bunch of arrogant, windbag hypocrites!

John F'ing Kerry is not worthy to speak Reagan's name.

his internment on the grounds of his presidential library in California.

I presume they mean "interment", i.e. burial, not "internment", i.e. confining for military purposes.

Found this courtesy Neil Boortz:

Here is yet another frightening example of why John Kerry must be defeated. If you were even for a minute considering trusting the safety and security of your family and the United States with Senator Kerry, listen up. This will change your mind.

In Sean Hannity's new book, he unearths a letter that John Kerry wrote criticizing President Reagan for the retaliatory bombing in 1986 of Libyan dictator Moammar Qadafi. In the letter, Kerry complains that Reagan "overreacted" to the bombing of a Berlin disco frequented by American troops. He claimed that our retaliation, which nearly killed Qadaffi, was not "proportional." Just whose side is this guy on, anyway?

He also said that "we are not going to solve the problem of terrorism with this kind of retaliation." This is why Kerry must be stopped. We simply cannot have someone who will not defend the United States of America against attack without permission from some other country or the United Nations.

Islamic terrorism is a threat to civilization as we know it, and John Kerry thinks it's a law enforcement problem. That's all you really need to now.

I've criticized Carter, Reagan, Bush Sr., and Clinton for not responding adequately to terrorist attacks. Reagan's missile attack on Qadaffi's palace was - along with Clinton's attack on the Sudanese chemical factory - one of the few instances of armed American response to terrorism. And John Kerry opposed it. This guy is not a serious candidate for president of the world's sold remaining superpower.

>Shortly after he took office in 1984, Kerry and Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa, traveled to Nicaragua for high-level meetings with Daniel Ortega<

Gee, now there's a surprise.

Kerry is like Bill Murray's character in Groundhog Day.
He says the same things about pro military, anti tax, anti communist, anti terror conservative Republican presidents year after year after year.
He railed against President Reagan's support of the military and war against communism.
Kerry called President Reagan a " warmonger " and " an international bully."
Kerry accused the Reagan administration of " substituting public relations for diplomatic relations" when we invaded Grenada.
Kerry said at the time, that there was " no substantial threat to US interests and American lives were not endangered."
How about this for deja vu ?
Kerry said the invasion " heightened world tensions."
Kerry said on the Senate floor that the Nicaraguan freedom fighters were " a mercenary army, which has been guilty of atrocities against civilians."
Kerry said the freedom fighters had resorted " to terrorist methods " to undermine the Marxist Sandinistas.
Kerry charged that " the American people are being misled " about what the Reagan administration was doing in Nicaragua.
Kerry rallied antiwar activists to oppose President Reagan's military build up.
According to the Congressional Quarterly,Kerry voted against President Reagan 73 % of the time.
Kerry lead a movement to bring impeachment charges against President Reagan.
As an aside, Kerry was instrumental in trying to destroy Col Oliver North.
In July 1988, Kerry held a press conference in Boston, where he told reporters that " the Justice Dept under Ronald Reagan and George Bush had been a failure in the fight against crime and the war on drugs."
And a drum roll please;
Kerry said that Reagan's economic policies had created a situation " worse than the Great Depression."
