My name is Sara and my husband is in special polish forces in Iraq.
There are preparations by American forces on Friday to have 21 salutes according to my husband. He really didn't tell me much, but I think it will happen. (what is 21 salute?)
On behalf of my husband and me Sara, we would like to send condolences to you all American people of great lost of Ronald Wilson Reagan.
It is a great lost for many Americans, we in Eastern Europe remember him as a great man who not only unified Germany but also allow us in Eastern Europe to breath again. He will be missed by all of us. He was after all a great man of courage and love to his own country.
There are new movements in Iraq as of what my husband told me. Many militias are willing to disband their criminal activities and be part of society. Only thing is what my husband said, Americans and coalition forces don't trust them, since many times they were stub in a back by those people. Also, four polish contractors were killed in ambush.
There was blast in Mosque not because Americans were there, but because, as my husband put it, criminals and murders where planning their dirty tricks. Americans are innocent and so are coalition forces. War is going well, Americans are helping Iraq to be rebuild and be strong by its own.
bagdanPolska sends his love.
There will come a time when the people of Iraq remember the people of Poland with gratitude. Highest honor, my friend.
May God bless you and your husband, Sara. Thank you for your kind message. Pres. Reagan was an American first and foremost but the God he loved loves us all equally and wants us all to be free.
Thank you, Sara. And thank your warrior-husband for us; it is a fine thing to know that your country's men of integrity stand beside ours in defending liberty.
Do you know what 21 salute is?
That really brings my spirit up. I worry about him.
I would like to thank you for this word.
What on honor. I feel sorry for death of this great man. I hope American people will remember him in their hearts. Thank you for your information you gave to me.
Someone had written something about how Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, LECH WALESA, and THE POPE were so instrumental in the fall of communism.
The heros of freedom will always bring a tear of pride and gratitude to my eyes. The bravery of not being afraid to say what is right and what is true and what is honorable.
And the heros of freedom on the front lines of the fight against Terrorism. God bless your husband and protect him.
I have the same exact feeling : )
Ping me back if confirmed : )
thank you poland. what great friends you and your countrymen are.
we say prayers for all. tell your man to stay well and thank him for his service to freedom.
Welcome to FR Sara, tell your husband thanks for his service. You will like the friends you will find here.
Thank you so much for Poland's support, your husband's service, and your strength in doing what must be done. We couldn't ask for a better ally.
right on! thank you.
It's a saluting salvo with 21 guns, I think...oh, wait, somebody already posted it. Well, at least now it's official !
Sara,
Thank you so much for your kind words. When this page of history is written, your husband will be honored for his selfless service. In every way the spirit of what President Reagan stood for is alive in Iraq. Pray for God's blessing and keep your resolve. With His help, millions more will stay lifted out of bondage. When he is a grandfather, your husband can say, "I did that" with much deserved pride. We have no better friends than the free peoples of Poland.
