Ha! Yes, he did, didn't he?

She'll either get involved with Alzheimer activism, or shut down. That's all I can see.

This one seems to be the closest.
But it was a far shot.

You know, this is pretty cool - he's all the stages of his life at once to us. And he feels closer. :o)

USS Ronald Reagan - not as cute, but just as strong. (A pin up for the guys.)

Hope she can recover enough to get involved in the cause for Alzheimer's. Would be a fitting tribute.
If she can keep going.
To: Lauren BaRecall
Not finding much else, at least not with the search terms I've been using.
To: dougherty
Yes, nice one! She was something else, wasn't she?
To: Lauren BaRecall
Night! About finished myself!

You know, this is pretty cool - he's all the stages of his life at once to us. And he feels closer. :o) Earlier tonight, I was thinking, how can I miss someone so much, who I never even met. It was really getting to me. But it's helped a lot to look at all these old photos of him.
So sad that he wasn't with us for all of the 90s though, we could have used the guidance he could have provided, if only his mind hadn't deserted him...

That dress is just beautiful!

(RIP Governor/President Reagan, ride peacefully into that sunset.)
To: texasbluebell
Yes, if she can keep going. You know, I remember that last one, and I do love it. But there's another, and I think that may be the dress. I'm not finding it, either. Well, tomorrow's another day.
However, that was a yeoman's job by you! Thanks.
And now to bed....really....

Yes, on all counts.
As I said on another thread, I always felt safe when he was in office, even when he came on TV with bad news. I knew he'd always figure it out.
He's our father in conservatism, and a definite father figure as well. He is (still) so easy to love. He loved us, and he was one of us. He buoyed our spirits with his joy, humor, and great faith in God. He showed us that life is good.
And we still need him.
But from where he is, he can watch us even better. We know that, but it's still hard. Tucked away, out of sight for the last 10 years, he was still among us.
And goodnight. :o)

Thanks, Joe. My Dad worked with the Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies in the 60s and 70s. I have photographs of him with President Kennedy. Below is one of my pride possessions, the book "The Quotable Ronald Reagan, circa 1975, signed by President Reagan.
I thought you would like to see it. This is the front inside cover.

And a ladyinred would know!
To: Lauren BaRecall
Well, if I come across another photo one of these days, I'll post it here, before this thread disappears.
