Saw them arrive at the funeral home a few minutes ago.
Nancy with Patty on her right and Ron on her left went over to the area where all of the flags and things have been left in tribute to President Reagan. Michael and his family arrived. Hugs exchanged all around. Very nice.

Family seem genuinely touched by the size of the memorial.

Seeing the Reagan family had me close to tears all over again.

I'm hoping the route is lined with people showing their sorrow!

We office-hostages are going to need a lot of pictures...
(Thanks)

I thought his body was being flown to DC to lie in state at the Capitol until Wednesday... Did the plan change or was that not the plan?

Just walked in to see the family looking at all the momentos and flags left by mourners. Incredible sight and surely a very overwhelming time for the family.
I even teared up.

Well, TomGuy is around because we started our threads at the same time -- so he'll be here to post those pictures.

Micheal Reagan appears very touched and his children (son) was teared up. MR is now reading some of the momentos left behind.
Nancy looked absolutely wonderful with all things considers. Smiles and tears from all.

I heard them say that these funeral plans have been in writing since 1981, right down to picking this funeral home!

I believe that he'll lie in repose at his Library until tomorrow night.
The President is sending AF1 to bring his remains to Washington to lie in state beginning on Wednesday.
To: alisasny
Does anyone know the exact quote by Michael Reagan on being chosen to be the son of his Dad?
