TERESA Heinz Kerry didn't exactly knock 'em dead with her keynote address at last Thursday's New York State Democratic Jefferson-Jackson dinner, Post City Hall bureau man Stefan C. Friedman reports. Most high-ranking officials had already taken off before Sen. John Kerry's wife began her speech nearly an hour late, and those who remained were treated to an often-rambling missive delivered just above a whisper.

Looks to me like this woman can't get her first husband out of her head. What the heck did she marry Kerry for?

Looks to me like this woman can't get her first husband out of her head. Hard to do when he left her the largest condiment company in the world.

Never trust a female millionaire who buys a $20 Million jet and names it "The Flying Squirrel". There has to be a screw lose somewhere.

Thank you for posting this hilarious story. She is crazy and this will not be the last gaffe she makes if John will let her out on the speechifying circuit again.

I understand that portraits of both Sen. Heinz and Kerry hang in Theresa's foyer. I believe she still wears her first husband's engagement ring as well. The things gigolos have to put up with....

It's times like these that make me feel a little sorry for Teresa. It is obvious that Sen. Heinz was the love of her life. They were happy together and she misses him. Up until Kerry's campaign got into full swing, she still referred to Heinz as her husband (and Kerry as "my current husband").
Anyhow, I am inclined to cut Teresa a whole bunch of slack on this point. If anyone in that marriage should have fingers pointed at him, it should be Kerry. It seems to me that he took advantage of a rich, sad lady.

Wouldn't that be bigamy, Mrs. Kerry?

I also heard that she is sometimes still addressed as Mrs. Heinz.

I agree. I think she was very lonely and sad when she met Kerry. She certainly didn't need money and he took advantage of her. Pathetic creep he is.

Maybe being super rich isn't any fun without lots of power to go along with it?

POWER, oh yeah one more thing..... POWER
