I am sure that a microwave beam of sufficient intensity could set something off even if it was inside a masonry structure. A few years ago I read a hilarious book named "How to Turn Your Microwave Oven Into a Death Ray".

I will breath a lot easier once the NJ Mosques are put under the microscope.
Especially the ones that are built around where our tunnels are. The tunnels that were original made by the Dutch to hide from the British.
How much you want to bet these tunnels have been utilized? It was the first thing I thought of when I saw a few mosques go up in specific locations.
