So much to say, but for now - Thank You Lord, for all Ronald Reagan did for our country and world.

To the best President I will ever know in my lifetime -

God Bless him. He's right up there with Sam Adams and Patrick Henry in my book.

I'd like to see him on Mt Rushmore. Maybe some of you graphic artists can swing it :-)

I just hope something more fitting that 105's are used for his final salute. Are enough 210mm howizers available?

When America had "fallen and couldn't get up", you picked the country up with your words and leadership.

God Bless you President Ronald Reagan.

Ronald Reagan was was a great leader. You knew his beliefs. You knew where he was going. No one should be given the opportunity to lead this country who does not share these qualities. Great leaders don't change thier minds and positions as a normal course of business. There's still time for the Democrats to nominate a different person for President. Think Before You Vote

For those of us born in the forties our parents are going or gone and this hits us very hard.

Ronald Reagan was the first President I had the honor of voting for. He was first elected when I was 17. At the time, I wished I was a year older so that I could vote for him that year.

I had just purchased a new flag to replace the worn out one I was flying. I never thought the first time I would raise the new one it would be to fly it at half staff.

God bless the Reagan family and comfort them during this time.

HIGH FLIGHT

Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds -- and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of -- wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delirious burning blue,
I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or even eagle flew.
And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

--John Gillespie Magee, Jr. (1922-1941)

We'd been watching the news and knew he was ill and would soon die. I'd gone out with my two older sons and we were standing in front of a church when I got a text message from my wife: "Reagan passed," she wrote. The church bells were ringing.

I went past our sheriff's house and told him - he hadn't heard yet - and asked if I could go to the sheriff's office and lower the flag. He said I could. I was sad to do it, but it was an honor.

Reagan inspired a generation of conservatives, and I'm so happy to be among them. I grew up in the 1980s, and Ronald Reagan defined this country for me, and that's why I love this country so much.

God bless him.

I'm glad that now, released from the bondage of Alzheimers, he knows how much he meant to so many of us.

President Reagan was no doubt me and my wife's favorite President. I have been tearied eyed several times today, even right now. America needs men like President Reagan, more now than ever before in our history.

My wife and I grew up with President Reagan as the President. I loved and adored the man. He had courage, conviction and strength. THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER PRESIDENT THAT CAN EVER HOLD A CANDLE TO RONALD REAGAN. America has lost a great leader, and more importantly, a dear friend to us all.

To Nancy, and all of those who were the closest to President Reagan, God bless you all!!! We love you all!!! Our prayers are with you always. No President has had the influence on me, as Ronald Reagan did!!! President Reagan will be very sorely missed!!!!

To President Reagan, go rest high on that mountain. You deserve it. Yes we will miss you, but know this, America is better because you were President. Thank you for your service!!!

Don't allow the media to spin Reagans death as they did his life. Go to the FR Reagan Vigils post and pledge to organize or attend a vigil in your area.
