And you know what? If anyone up here tries to belittle/disparage Pres. Reagan to my face in the next few days, I think I'll lose it.

This happened to me on 9/12/01. I bought red, white, blue and black ribbons for the car's antenna, and when someone (a parent at my child's school) saw them, he said, "feeling a little patriotic today?"

A *little patriotic*? The day after 3,000+ people were murdered in an act of war? Unbelievable.

I won't tolerate any sniping, cynical comments about Pres. Reagan. That will send me over the edge, I know it.

AMEN... Reagan was my favorite president. I think I'll spend my down time at work tomorrow reading through the book of letters I bought. Excellent book. Required reading for any conservative.

My flag is flying half-mast. Good-bye to the first President I ever voted for and had the priviledge to meet in person at the Palmer center in Davenport, Iowa back in 1986, and to the man who brought optimism and hope back to America at a time when it was desperately needed.

A loss for the World, but a gain for Heaven. Good-bye, Gipper. I will miss you greatly.

As hold as the Clintons maintain their chokehold on the dem party, the Dems will NEVER retake the WH or the Congress...so, from that perspective, wish them both a LONG and MISERABLE life..

I remember on 9-11 when I defended Hillary- if you can believe that. Freepers called me some very interesting things.

Bottom line: we are all Americans, each of us having an impact on history no matter how small or large.

And as Americans, we deserve to give and receive respect from each other, especially in times of grief.

Yes. And I will be a frail old woman wearing a faded "Bush-Cheney" t-shirt. And I will watch as the small motorcade winds its way through Little Rock, in the rain.

I will stand as it passes, and smile. Then my children will come and take me to their car. I will be smiling, but I won't say anything. But I will know in my heart what I think.
