(I was thinking about posting this as a vanity thread on a new terrorist threat, but this is a good place for it.)

We are currently primed for bogus acts of "domestic terrorism," which have the ulterior purpose of causing the defeat of George Bush in the coming election. I am expecting a "Super Columbine" or an "assault rifle massacre" between now and the election.

George Soros has stated he will spend $100 million or more of his own money to defeat President Bush. Millions of dollars are now flowing to MoveOn.org and International ANSWER (a full-fledged communist front group) for the overt purpose of creating an anti-Bush media campaign, outside of current campaign contribution limits. Those millions would also pay for a wide range of black operations, beyond simply a media campaign.

(Soros is also a major financial backer of gun control groups all over the world, and one of his stated goals is the elimination of all private gun ownership. He is on the record saying that only official government military and police groups should have access to firearms. Global gun control is one of his top causes, along with the abolition of drug laws, and the creation of effective world government via an infinitely stronger United Nations.)

A natural black operation meant to defeat President Bush would be a "Super Columbine," intended to be blamed on free access to so-called "assault rifles" in the United States. It would be simple for MoveOn.org or ANSWER to in turn fund a range of unaccountable radical fringe groups with links to quazi-terrorist groups like ELF, the Ruckus Society etc. (The money for the huge street demonstrations we are now seeing in Rome and which we will see at the Presidential conventions is coming via MoveOn and ANSWER from Soros.)

IOW, these radical America-hating groups for the first time are swimming in cash, thanks to Soros. I see a real confluence of nefarious aims coming together. These radical fringe groups are ready to do anything to defeat Bush, and now they have the money to fund complex black operations using cut-outs and suitable patsies for insulation.

The odds are now quite high that a well-funded radical fringe group (using cut-outs and patsies) could go after Bush directly, with an assassination attempt. But it would be much easier to organize a "Super Columbine" to be blamed on free access to "assault rifles," which would naturally be blamed on Bush and the pro-gun Republicans. If this happened between the sunset of the so-called Assault Weapons Ban in September and the Presidential election, the immediate political consequences would be devastating for Bush and the Republicans. This type of operation must certainly be tempting some of the radical groups, which are for the first time are flush with cash, thanks to George Soros and others like him.

Don't be shocked if a "Super Columbine" or an "assault rifle massacre" happens between now and the election. That is basically the premise of my novel Enemies Foreign And Domestic, which is meant as a warning, and an admonition to dig deeper if a "deranged veteran" or another suitable patsy goes on a rampage with an "assault rifle" in the near future.

A scary scenario, sir, and one featured in your novel.

beyond the realm of possibility? I think not. Sad to say, the thing seems all too likely, to me. And I'm not some manchurain candidate type either.

in a certain sense, these folks have not so much created these gunmen as they have created the circumstances under which they must inevitably arise.

urban poverty, insufficient law and order, anarchy in the family, on the block, and in the city as a matter of policy, these things must produce the super=predators who will do these things.

The bastards who will do this will do it for the pure joy of the thing, and not from any political motives.

I wouldn't be surprised if patriots put a $100 million or more bounty on Soros' head. Maybe even get some D-10 and level his property down.

I wonder if Dippy Diane is going to outlaw Catipillar dozers too?

There are negotiations between "my people and their people" - to trade some of our leftist, elitest, America hating, liberty hating, busy body, Hollywood a$$kissing Jews for some of Israel's REAL Jews..

How in hell did we end up with the majority of the world's stupid Jews?

I can't believe there are Jews that wish to disarm the civilian population -- again..
That was Hitler's first step -- before picking up and destroying most of Europe's Jews..
Our stupid Jews must have forgotten..

Given their love of jihadis, I would expect a terrorist massacre at a mall using assault weapons obtained at a gun show. Not only does it give that evil gun angle, it also lets them say Bush is losing the war on terror.

Trav, there are so many related scenarios. I have long wondered about more subtle factors. What about our trend toward urbanized living? Most kids don't grow up around firearms any longer. This makes me wonder if they become mythical objects to many urban dwellers? Firearms appear almost daily in our entertainment media. Research varies on the effects of media violence. But are they asking the right questions? For example, what impact does urbanized exposure to media violence play in the role in incidents of indiscriminate firearms violence? These situations must be at the extreme periphery of human behavior, and yet they seem to have increased greatly since we decided to "ban" and "control" classes firearms. I am also fascinated by the possibility that firearms "demonizing" and related "myth making" in our mass entertainment and liberal journalism actually could trigger an increase in indiscriminate violence.

When a senator stands up in session and decries our lack of control over the "weapons of war on the streets of America," unmonitored, urban children and teens listen. Are these speeches and the very struggle over firearms control in our society producing a kind of "larger than life" image for gas pressure projectile weapons in the minds of our citizens? And given human nature, when pathology pushes one of them over the edge, aren't some of them reaching for ready-made, "epic" objects of myth and legend?

The China card of massacres might be less intentional than we think. It might be a simple combination of nonexistent mentoring and media abuse of the firearm as the ultimate symbol of power and evil. I hope serious firearms rights research at least stops to examine these ideas. It's possible that we could reduce indiscriminate acts of firearms violence with just a few steps. The sad thing is that the same people who are demonizing firearms will balk at introducing firearms training and mentorship in urban schools. Imagine responsible mentors from among the law-enforcement and military communities teaching youth about the real power and ultimate limitations inherent in firearms?

We can have sex education that claims it is unrealistic to teach abstinence, with untold impact on promiscuity and irresponsible sexual behavior, and yet a simple course introducing firearms concepts with actual time on the range with good mentors is too risky. We've turned our world upside down, putting the city dwellers in charge of our future. We shouldn't be surprised that their craving for safety and predictability leads to extremes in firearms perceptions. When someone snaps, what has fortified him with a practical understanding of the tools of death? They're more than they really are to those people: they're ugly, black instruments of power and myth. Country folk usually know better, and yet our urbane legislators seem to be only making potential for deviance worse.

Judging from the Demwit's rhetoric, the only conclusion is: They are hoping for another terrorist incident, so they can blame George Bush for it.

It is even possible, that some, of the more rabid Bush-haters, would finance some sort of black operation, to ensure that a terrorist incident would occur. It is parallel to the Reichstagg fire in Berlin, immediately before the Nazi's seized power in Germany. BTW: Who did set that fire?

I don't know how shocked I'll be, but I will absolutely, categorically refuse to believe it's a coincidence NO MATTER HOW isolated the incident appears to be - and I encourage any and everyone to put the media and the gun-grabbers and the rest of the subhuman filth who are trying to enslave us (and in particular, Soros, Schumer, Fiendswine, ET. AL.) on notice that there are a bunch of us "right-wing crazies" (thanks, Aahnold - I'll always remember you for that) out here who are already planning on not accepting ANY such dismissive explanation for ANY such event between now and the time the Clinton Ban expires...

... Soros has stated he will spend $100 million...

Andrew Mckelvy (Monster.com) has ALREADY spent serious money on anti-gun causes. Just here in GA alone he gave $100k to anti-gun organizations in 2003.

Rumor has it that Alex Pinelas actually did something similar for his election to the Miami-Dade county mayorship. In that situation it was the "discovery" of "assault guns" and the resulting outrage press conference photoop.

It would be simple enough to find some california gang bangers to do whatever is required.
