Got the same email yesterday........Pro-life........ Ping
Moral releventism is (has) killing the Catholic Church.
It has turned into a pseudo-Christian modern socialistic Institution, where only lip service is given to the Holy Gospels and the Holy Communion of Our Lord.
The dressing down by Pope John Paul II to President Bush earlier today was rooted in he modern's Catholicism's European socialism, not Christianity.
We can only pray that the Good Lord will right this sinking ship.
IMHO
Keep the faith in your Church and the Holy Father as well. A few words in the context of a war in the eyes of a holy forgiving man do not indicate back sliding Catholicism.
"A few words in the context of a war in the eyes of a holy forgiving man do not indicate back sliding Catholicism.'
Those words were purposely chosen to please the European aetheists, so the Vatican can stay in "good graces" with the rest of the Socialistic EU.
The anti-Americanism and pseudo-Christianity expounded daily by The Holy See disgusts this Catholic. IMHO
Randy needs to butt out of the Church's business. Now.
He believes in brotherhood and peace. You and I have a righteous anger...the Pope has all of humanity in his heart..he's not "on our team". Forgiveness is the foundation of the Church... and I have a tough time in that category myself...but then ...I'm not the vicar of Christ on earth.
Randall Terry has every right to exercise his right to protest...and it appears he has a number of Bishops from quite a few major cities signing on... maybe you should contact the bishops and "Butt" Terry out.... Hmmmmm??
I just saw on another thread that Kerry is going to be in Denver on Sunday. Didn't the Bishop there say he would not give politicans who support abortion communion?
If there's not some kind of financial angle to this protest, I'll be very surprised.
He hasn't said.
Where? I see nothing from individual bishops.
In fact, at first glance, the bishops of Cincinnati, Baltimore, and Boston have specifically said they would NOT refuse the Eucharist to any Catholic.
Well Some Bishops refused to protect children from pedophile priests... I'll take the few that sign on as the beginning of rebirth in the Church
"COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (CNN) -- In interviews Friday, Bishop Michael Sheridan said that people who vote for candidates whose positions contradict church teachings should not take communion. Sheridan made his stance known in a May 1 pastoral letter published in the diocese's newspaper and sent to each parish, according to The Associated Press.
Kerry is an irreverent extreme liberal... He'll find a reactionary radical priest to sacrilegiously allow a pro abortion advocate candidate receive the precious Body and Blood of Christ just to perpetuate his effort to capture Catholic votes.
The continuous lies are beginning to rival another Democrat couple.... we all know the couple to whom I refer.
John KERRY the BOSTON Irish politician that hasn't a smidgen of Irish in his ancestry...
Lies...can't liberals ever speak any truth whatsoever???
Extreme liberalism is a very dangerous MENTAL ILLNESS.
Perhaps these Bishops will take a cue here; and do what they should feel spiritually obliged if not compelled, to do;
. . .give an unequivacal 'NO' to those Catholics who are determined to fashion their Catholicism so that it is personally accomodating and therefore self-serving in the worst possible way.
The Church doesn't negotiate with elitest liberal Catholics like John Kerry or any of the others noted in my tag line
Liberals are the 'people of the lie' so to speak. So truth is never a consideration; a value; a reason; a goal; an ideal; and it does not serve them to speak the truth of anything.
Or, more specifically, to your question. . .'can't they ever speak the truth'; the answer is NO, they cannot.
