Significant because this is a Demoncrat governor, and at least the third democrat governor to sign a bill this year improving the CCW laws in their state (Warner or Virgina and Locke of Washington are the others).

Obviously, they have internal polling (coupled with previous election results) which shows that gun control is a big loser for them.

Too bad the Republicans at the national level don't realize this and start pushing for some improvement (or better yet, elimination) of the federal gun edicts.

Granholm has cut taxes and cut spending due to the economic situation in over regulated Michigan.

Both Dem's and Pubbies should start the process to amend the Constitution to allow the foreign born to be elected President. She and Arnold would both have a real shot at it.
