OJ Simpson; Blames Nicole, Supports Michael Jackson, No Remorse...
NY Post ^

Posted on 06/04/2004 7:16:04 AM PDT by PatriotEdition

June 4, 2004 -- LOS ANGELES — In an interview marking the 10th anniversary of Nicole Brown Simpson's murder, O.J. Simpson virtually blames his ex-wife for her own slaying, declares Kobe Bryant and Jacko innocent, appears to mock the idea of date rape — and plugs his own tacky reality-TV show.

The disgraced grid legend makes the offhanded comments in a TV interview with Fox News Channel's Greta Van Susteren.

Speaking about how he's handled the anniversary of his wife's slaying, Simpson says he's "angry" with Nicole for keeping an unsavory social set in 1994 — the year a knife-wielding assailant slaughtered Brown and Ronald Goldman outside her Brentwood condo.

"I am angry with her [Nicole]. I am angry that she found herself hangin' out with this group of — who are these people?" Simpson said.

"I could count on my fingers the time I have seen Faye Resnick and this is a group of nomads, I guess, that Nicole started hanging out with, after we were divorced. And her mother didn't like 'em."

Van Susteren and Simpson taped their 44-minute chat recently at a hotel in Miami.

During the interview, which airs Monday at 10 p.m., Simpson shamelessly plugs a prank reality-TV show he claims to be developing. Simpson compared it to MTV's show featuring actor Ashton Kutcher pulling stunts.

I recall that Jack French Kemp and the late Bob Hope were said to have been especially close to the popular Simpson. Did either of these men have second thoughts about their selection of friends?

So how many millions does Simpson owe the Goldman family?

Let`s not forget the image of Al Sharpton cheering and back slapping when this pig got off...Democrats felt that type of pathetic slime is worthy for President.

Neal Boortz just referenced Simpson as "a murdering b@stard."

In the preview of Greta's FoxNews report, it seemed that Simpson was trying to point blame to Kato Kaelin.

Simpson seems to be like Kerry: Anything bad that happens is always someone else's fault.

I am just curious. Does anyone know where OJ stands politically? If I had to guess, I would say he is a democrat. This is something I never really knew.

Maybe he is just too stupid to even know about politics. But my guess is he would support Kerry if given the choice.

Wasn't it Vincent Bugliosi that said Simpson got away with ... "two free murders?"

If this is O.J.'s idea of using PR for a comeback, he needs to fire his PR consultant.

I can kind of see his point, you know getting blood stains out of those Italian loafers was a pain, he did lose those gloves, the impound fees on his bronco were huge, and being locked up with felons for a year (to short of a time for him if you ask me) made him feel like he was in the Dallas Cowboys training camp. Oh the Horror. (SARCASM OFF)

I tend to agree with O.J., concerning Nicole: how dare she hang with the wrong crowd, rather than staying home and getting beaten to a pulp by her husband.
