Excellent read

Though the socialist democrats will never go away until the Republicans in power instead of trying to be friends with the liberals in congress and the media and start to fight back and stop trying out Democrat the Democrats which will show the average shmuck out there that there is a big difference between the parties.

And unfortunately I think the hippie democrats will get in power again soon when the baby boomers start to retire and demand the same life style they had when working.

Good point, as Cartman said "Hippies, they say they want to change the world, but all they do is smoke pot and smell bad".

Absolutely. And they will feel not a twinge of guilt about it, either. They were convinced early that they had a right to live a life of luxury, and that sacrifice was for others. It's whay they protested the war when they realized that it was they who were at risk, and why the protests ended virtually the same day the draft did.

They will have NO trouble leaving us holding the bag for their fun. Shoot, look at the history...their "free love and dope", by the time it got to us, meant AIDS and crackhouses. Their fanciful, stylish Leftism became the socialism we'll have to pay for. Their "peace activism" led directly to 9-11.

There were indeed many members of that generation who DID NOT intend these things, and who went on to productive lives untainted by Leftism, but those who formed the core of that set will have no problems watching us work into our seventies to pay for their shuffleboard.
