LONDON - More than a year before 9/11, a Pakistani-British man told the FBI an incredible tale: that he had been trained by bin Ladens followers to hijack airplanes and was now in America to carry out an attack. The FBI questioned him for weeks, but then let him go home, and never followed up. Now, the former al-Qaida insider is talking.

But wait, one year before 9/11 would be during the Clinton Administration and Dick Clarke assured us that the Clinton Administration was on the ball and stopping terrorists in their tracks.
I'm sure Breitweiser and the other Leftist widows will now come out and denounce Bill Clinton. Right?
That would be under the reign of "der schlickmeister".
I'm holding my kittens at bay so far....
Check these speeches out. They only go back to 97 but Jim Traficant was screaming about an impending attack at the hands of Bin Laden at least that long ago.

I believe that the Gorelick "WALL" prevented the FBI from telling anyone else.
I won't hold my breath waiting for the 9-11 Commission to look into this intelligence failure of the Clinton Administration.
Bingo.
What ever happened to ol' Jim anyway, I haven't heard much from the fine upstanding fellow for the last few years.
"a year before 9/11 and FBI let him go."
During the Clinton administration, so the press will give this story a pass as well.
Don't concern yourself M2C, for as far as "the commission" with their designed agenda is concerned, the Clinton administration never existed.
Probably working toward an appeal with the jurors who convicted him. Think about it, when the jurors who convict you support your appeal something is very wrong.
Sure chuckle at JT but if you have any sense you'll look at his speeches and recognize how right he was on an amazing number of subjects from Bin Laden, to Iraq and the wall of separation in our intelligence community.
Gee .. I guess they just forgot to mention that in their reporting huh?
this is not "news" per se - recall the 8/01 memo that noted there were long held beliefs that AlQaeda might try hijackings, as in traditional kind to exchange for hostages or the like, but not to be used as missiles.

Don't remember reading that is this article either
I could be wrong ... hmmm ... maybe I should re-read it to make sure
It happens to ALL of us at one time or another, he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, to get his message across.
However, most all of us don't wind up staring at four walls for an extended period of time.
Go figure!
Nothing important here, move along!
Evidently for others its more important to protect the party than to find the truth. go figure.
