A dear friend who is a Protestant Minister has read the entire series, has seen both Harry Potter movies and highly recommends all the Harry Potter books as good reading.

One of the cutest things I remember hearing were two little old ladies talking between classes at church. Listening in a little, I realized they were talking about how excited one of them was about going to see the last Harry Potter movie. That was entertaining.
Maybe it's just me, but I have noticed that a lot of the people I saw picking up the last book were women in their early to mid 30s. Maybe they were just buying them for their children, but I know a few friends who love reading Harry Potter, but their children have not gotten into the books just yet. My own husband teases me about reading books out of the juvenile section.
