OK, since you are always right. tell us - why did he resign? for personal and financial reasons?

Gee... maybe he resigned for ... ... personal reasons. The President has asked him to stay on now for over a year longer than he intended. He's been CIA director for seven years. Only one man has been in that position for longer. Only two others have been there as long as six years. Certainly, given that there have been 18 D/CIA since 1946, (See post#235) he wouldn't have expected such a long tenure, and one lasting UNPRECIDENTEDLY long into the next administration.

Yeah - Personal and financial reasons - and time for a rest from the pressure cooker qualifies as personal.

I thank him for his service, and loyalty in a very difficult and predictably thankless job and position given the times we're in.

Hello! I anybody home at your address?

so he's been director for 7 years, stayed on an additional year, been there through two wars, survived the grilling of the 9-11 commission....but couldn't hold on for 150 more days?
