To: Peach
The next question is: what would W be looking for in a DCI?

Here's what I think:

1. He's going to have to be somebody who's already got Intel experience, and can hit the ground running.

2. He's got to understand the difference between war and peace.

3. He needs to be able to coordinate with Homeland Security, military intelligence, and the FBI.

My guess is that Bush will tap a military guy for the job -- such as Ralph Eberhardt (commander of Northern Command).

I think it could be someone like Eberhardt or a name we've never heard of.

He should pick John Lehman, and this will just BURY the 9-11 Commission Report...because the best member of that commission will be the CIA director.
