What's the point? It will show, and be gone within a week. If we make a big deal about it, more theatres will show it because they will think there is an interest or that the controversy will draw the curious.
Just let it come out and whither on the vine.

You're exactly right. The free market will take care of this film. Say nothing, and it will close immediately. There is no market to sustain such a film.

Kinda like "The Reagans" on CBS, eh?

Just let it come out and whither on the vine. You're exactly right. The very WORST thing we could do would be to call theaters. A large-scale effort like that would turn it into something far, far bigger.

I agree. I saw Moore last night on the tube (holding my barf bag!) and he was ever so grateful for the publicity the "right" is giving him.

Especially considering the summer blockbusters that will be coming out. People go to movies for escapism. Most theatre goers are going to prefer something like Spider-Man 2 or I, Robot. Theatre chains don't screw around during the summer season. Once a movie stops making money for them, it's gone. There's a contingent of hardcore leftists and curious people who will go see the movie but after that, it's done.
It's up to us to counter the propaganda in the movie. None of the charges in the movie are anything new and, frankly, pretty easily countered after minimal research.
