This particular cutter is getting a new crew, but the 2 being shipped, USCGC Monomoy and USCGC Maui are both the same size. "Being shipped" sounds like on a bigger ship.

I applied for the Coast Guard Academy way back when, and made the finalist list, but didn't make it in for physical reasons. So, I've always been interesting the Coast Guard.

I gues if they are shipping the ships to Iraq, it wouldn't be too bad a trip. But I would relish crossing the ocean in a 110" footer. <Maybe we should send the Eagle over as well. It's still better than anythingthe iraqis have.
