I can't believe I was a winner. I am no poet, as many of you who have known me for some time in Canteenville will attest. I did it all in good fun, actually! You know.....kind of like making up rhymes that you can use in a commerical or after drinking a six-pack! LOL. But, on the serious side, which expressed my fondness for the Canteen and what it stands for AND our military.
BUT...let me congratulate the other winners.....The Sailor....and.....HopeandGlory. Fine job. I knew I was up against stiff competition. And, Mojo....you never told us you were married to a poet!
Now, as for Sports day, I want to add a couple that I haven't seen mentioned before...........but are fun too.......
OH, did I ever tell you that this is my favorite sport?
