THE terrorists who escaped after killing 22 people in Saudi Arabia at the weekend were holding human shields to ensure their escape.
It is believed the three men, still on the run, escaped after making good on their threat to execute hostages in the Oasis housing compound in the eastern oil city of Khobar.
A hostage heard the gunmen shouting they would release their captives if the security forces let them go.
"The security forces refused at the beginning but then apparently relented," he said. "There was a kind of deal reached, although some hostages had already been killed."
A further source said one European was decapitated, his head thrown out of the window, and a kidnapper threatened to shoot a baby in front of its mother.
Sources believe the kidnappers escaped shortly before Saudi commandos landed on the building.
They hijacked two cars during their getaway.
A fourth militant, described as the ringleader, was captured and wounded, although it was unclear how seriously.
"It's believed the three left by foot and didn't hijack any vehicle until they were outside the compound," the source said. "To leave, they had to puncture three cordons of defence."
The first was immediately around the residential compound, the second around the perimeter and the last, and biggest, was two blocks back with armoured personal carriers and police cars. The area was sealed off on three sides with the sea on the fourth.
Once outside the compound, the terrorists hijacked two cars after changing out of their military fatigues into black track suits. Shots were fired at a police cordon as one of the vehicles sped away.
The official death toll from the 25-hour siege was eight Indians, three Filipinos, three Saudis, two Sri Lankans, an American, a Briton, an Italian, a Swede, a South African and a 10-year-old Egyptian.
Twenty-five people of various nationalities were injured, and security forces evacuated 242 people from the Oasis.
Despite the escape, Saudi Interior Ministry officials insisted the operation was a success, saying 41 hostages were freed. A Western diplomat described the attackers as "really smart guys", and said the Saudi security forces did "a pretty good job".

Did these people volunteer to be hostages or were they grabbed as part of the breakout? If they volunteered, well, they just don't get it.
As I recall, 'human shield' is just another way of saying 'collateral damage'.
This crap will never end until civilized people adopt a policy that says: "Better every hostage die, than one hostage taker live."

They are indeed Nazis. Hitler's "Mein Kampf" is a best-seller in Arabic. Nazis were also socialists. That's probably why the left defends or ignores this kind of evil from their Muslim comrades, but has a hissy fit if a pair of panties is placed over a terrorist's head.
These cretins need to be obliterated off the face of the earth. Islam really does condone this kind of murderous evil against other humans--especially if those humans are Jews or other infidels.

Rember when I was reading 'Peter the Great'; more than a few years ago; and was sickenly shocked at the kind of violence described; shocked because it was not soooooo long ago; but somehow the violence seemed to belong to another time.
Since then, of course, that visual of violence has been routinely updated, thanks to the Muslim extremists around the world and in our midst.
Of course, it's an English translation, so I don't know what was lost in the translation.
We need to tell these animals -- and that includes the animals in the House of Saud -- that we intend to come after them and will not rest until every single one of them is smeared in pig fat and publicly beheaded. If that means all 1.2 billion Mohammedans, we'll raise more hogs to ensure we can complete the job.

That is all that these animals will understand. I try to reason with the bleeding hearts where I work - if there was a rabid dog running loose in your neighborhood - would you try to reason with it? Try to talk it out of its rabidity? Would you hide inside and hope that it doesn't bite someone? Or - would you shoot in the street and eliminate the danger?
My choice - shoot it in the street.
That is so demonic. It would be bad enough to kill a hostage and to throw him out the window, but to cut off someone's head...
The right thing to do is kill the terrorists regardless of any harm that may come to the hostages. If you don't, you guarantee that others will become hostages in the future, and your total carnage grows by orders of magnitude.
It might seem cold and callous, but it is a proven solution. Nobody will take hostages if it becomes a one-way ticket to the morgue.

My choice as well. The problem of late is, that shooting a rabid dog, even after it has already bit someone, would bring the rath of liberalism down upon the shooter.

That isn't true where these barbarians are concerned, because they believe they get 72 virgins when they die.
I believe we should just kill them, however it won't stop the hostage taking...they are willing to die for Allah, who says kill the americans and the infidels...anyone who isn't muslim.
I'm not convinced that there are all that many of them that really believe in all that. If they would enter paradise and get their 72 virgins by dying, why bother trying to escape in the first place? It doesn't add up, unless they actually do want to live in the first place.
The ones that go to their deaths to get virgins are a brainwashed minority. Most of them really don't want to die before their time. If they did, why complain when others kill them then?
