BUSH CONTACTS OUTSIDE ATTORNEY IN LEAK CASE: ABC News' Kate Snow reports that President Bush has contacted an outside attorney in case over leak of name of CIA operative Valerie Plume, wife of former Ambassador Joseph Wilson...
The President isn't cozy with Novack and hasn't given him any face time so he didn't leak anything to him.
You mean the chick who spilled her guts on her third trip to the bedroom WITH WILSON that she was a "spy". That makes her one big security risk as far as I can see. Wouldn't want her on my team.
I would like to share your optimism, but I saw in the Lewinsky case how the Dems and the media turned everything upside down and demonized an honorable man like Kenneth Starr and made a lying scumbag like Susan McDougal seem like an innocent victim. When it was over, the only heads that rolled were Republicans - Gingrich, Hyde, and what's-his-name.
What a paranoid and hysterical crowd.
Thank you so much. We are going to have to have a serious morale thread pretty soon. I am known as "Old Blood and Guts Marple" on the America the Right Way Thread (General Interest section) because I do NOT like all this handwringing! It doesn't help a bit, and demoralizes the timid lurkers.
Hey, I see today that Kerry met with Chalabi in London several years ago (according to Kerry, a suspect source) and he decided not to back him (according, again, to Kerry) and he "regrets that the administration did back him, leading to an intelligence leak."
I am now convinced that Chalabi is a target in order to help the Kerry campaign. Bah!
If it's possible to imagine anything more damaging to DOD [than the Iran/Chalabi revelations], and perhaps also to White House staff, it is the CIA's conclusion that some information Chalabi turned over to Iran was available to only "a handful" of senior U.S. officials. That would be Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Feith, Cheney, and Cheney's consigleiri, Scooter Libby, our sources helpfully explain.
Maybe because it's no big deal.... And he didn't retain an attorney. He consulted one. He probably does that 30 times a month, and if he doesn't he probably should with people like Soros and Larry Flynt snorting around.
Yes, intriguing, but my money's on Bush -- he's clean.
Ture enough. But, we're older, wiser and better-organized.
And, this includes the President's team.
Excellent Advice Miss Marple
This is nothing and some are WAY over reacting
Gingrich was replaced because he messed up the 98 elections. Hyde is still in Congress and is one of the best pro-life Congressmen there is and Livingston resigned.
Get your facts straight.
Yup.
heheheheh
We're doomed...Doomed! DOOMED!!!
Sounds like a non-story so far. What are people up in arms about?
Plus, with his daughters graduating from college, there are income tax/insurance and guardianship details one would wish to amend for estate planning.
