Are you aware of The Capital Steps? If not, I think you might like them. They are a D.C. based song troup that parodies all things political. I first heard of them years ago with a Clinton parody "Unzippin' My Doodah" (Zippity Do Da).
I just got the newest CD "Papa's Got a Brand New Baghdad" for my husband for father's day. These guys are great. They are fair and balanced in their skewering of both the right and the left.
