I love it! The peacenik avoids prosecution for assault. You just can't make this stuff up. It's good to be a senator's wife, eh Mrs. Baucus?
Federal prosecutors? Since when is it a Federal Crime to get into a stupid fight in a parking lot?
She's the raucus Baucus.
When it happens in DC.
Hmmmm. The Republicans desire to fight terrorists that would kill all of us, Dem GOP or Independent voters.
The Democrats desire to fight....soccer mom's at garden centers?
And they wonder why they are a shrinking minority....
When the incident occurs within the District of Columbia, the feds have jurisdiction.
Really? I did not know that. No wonder the Federal budget is so bloated.
This is DC. All criminal prosecution is handled by the US Attorney's office.
For once, I'm on the perp's side. I don't know how many times I've had to resist the urge to go Brown Bomber on a soccer mom.
ha! i am calling wanda out to come on over to Merrifield Garden Center in VA, and mix it up over some potting soil!
What's the federal jurisdiction over a fight in a parking lot.
I want the people in Iraq to have peace the people whose lives are in turmoil because of the war, the children, their mothers, the farmers, the grandmothers and even the camels that are out grazing,'' Wanda Baucus told gossip columnist Lloyd Grove.
She is a painter and anthropologist and also expressed concerns about cultural artifacts.
When we watch the bombing on television, we really don't seem to understand or appreciate that some of these places are sacred. . . . I disagree with those who say that Saddam Hussein doesn't think about this,'' Wanda Baucus told Grove. He cares about these places and their people.''
Actually, DC has its own municipal courts, so I'm not sure why it's a federal case. Maybe the DOJ performs the service that the DA does in most jurisdictions.
That would rule! When y'all get the date and venue firmed up, I bet B here could help you with promotion.
Painter and anthropologist. Kinda says it all, eh?
With liberty and justice for all...
