Democrats use a meat cleaver, such as the ads they ran, trying to link Bush with the death of James Byrd or the recent "they have a plan and you are not part of it" billboards.
I forgot to add, that the real reason Democrats have a hard time winning, is that they have to pretend to be Republicans without alienating their base.
