OK, but I don't know how long Joe Six-Pack is going to want to here ideology. It better be a short, intense campaign.

I'm just now in the middle of Sammon's new book, "Misunderestimated."

I recommend it to all of you, it is very good.

"So if you're a conservative Republican," he added, "this campaign is doing what you wanted."

ROFLOL, what gall. It's a little late in the day to appeal to the rock ribbed conservative base Bush has been so embarassed to acknowledge the past four years, the base he has given the straight up middle finger to.

I have only found one out of twenty people that plan on voting for him again here locally.

"This election will represent a clear choice, an ideological choice...."

I like the two bicycle theory, complements of Dennis Miller:

Both J Fing Kerry and GW fall off their bikes.
J F'ing Kerry said "did Gw's training wheels fall off?"

Miller said: "Hey, John, at least GW didn't have to have his wife buy his bike ($ 6,000)"

As long as Conservatism is defined by expanding the Government faster than Liberals did.

The choice this November is NOT between Liberalism and Conservatism. Bush is a Liberal. Kerry is a Liberal. Bush, however is capable of intelligently waging the war we are in. Kerry is not. Therefore Bush is the only reasonable choice for conservatives. If the system does not survive then my conservatism is not relevant to anything. Bush is also the only reasonable choice for Liberals who are capable of reason- there are a few of those- for the same reason.

I expect the nation to survive, even prevail, no matter who wins but the economy and the Constitution are in great danger of not surviving if it is left to Kerry to fight this war.

[ "So if you're a conservative Republican," he added, "this campaign is doing what you wanted." ]

Interesting comment here.. is everybody watching(listening).. did you get that.. This little comment says a lot. A freudian slip I would imagine. Don't even think this little faux pas will happen again. A very telling slip this. Conservatives are merely a branch of the republican party, an ideological nuance, a voteing block, a missing tooth beer drinking crotch scratching element that needs inclusion in the process.

I hear ya! Bill (Sammon). Defintely a "I'm not a divider, I'm a uniter" attitude. However it does unearth this administrations attitude and base thoughts toward us type of republicans that could easily HANG on the white house lawn most democrats as traitors (get a good nights sleep) and wake up refreshed in the morning to a new fresh future. YOU (BILL) would not of course be in that crowd.. On that event you would shed tears of recrimination.

Bill Sammon, your mouth condemns you. Evidently you don't know americas greatest enemies ARE democrats. Not political opponents BUT enemies. Bill, "IF" a republican is NOT a conservative he is a "MOLE", a RINO, a plant, a ringer, a very confused individual or BEST of all worlds, a RADICAL LIKE ME. Because Bill, I'm for a RADICAL change in america not a conservative one. You evidently are NOT for a radical change in america and ARE yourself "a ringer" and a very confused individual and really, a big PART OF THE PROBLEM...

I'm watchin you Bill, got my eye on ya.. you're outted

Uh-huh. And is part of this ideology going to be about illegal immigration?

And if it is, will there actually be a follow through, or another amnesty proposal?

Because on the immigration issue, there isn't much difference between the two, and those of us in border states would like to see some real action. But we won't hold our breath, because it seems like every politician wants to be Vicente Fox's bride.

Just cut my taxes, round up the terrorists, and stack the courts with conservatives.
