A new day arises in Baghdad!
Can't wait to hear what the lying crooked liberals have to say about this. They seem to be the voice of the terrorists.
There will be bumps in the road, but this is forward progression.
No matter what the liberal media has to say about it.
Actually, it's late afternoon in Baghdad. ;-)
Pachachi inspires respect, but [al-Yawer] represents the future, said a Kurdish council representative, Mahmud Osmán
With a round, always smiling face, al-Yawer projects the traditional image of an important Arab. Always dressed in a long white helabi and a keffi with two black rings, he presents himself as a unifier between the Oriental and Occidental cultures, particularly that of the US, although he admits he likes French food.
Rather than laicist, he describes himself as tolerant. My family has always had excellent relationships with the Kurds, and when I was young, my mother used to take me to visit the Shiite sanctuaries in Najaf and Kerbala, as well as the Sunni mosques in Baghdad and the Church of the Virgin Mary, he explains.
He supposedly supports the idea of a unified, federal Iraq. He's much younger than Pachachi but is also US educated (degree in engineering).
This is all Bush's fault...er...wait...this is positive...er...This is what John Kerry would have done without a war...yeah, that's right...without a war.
Now the defeatists can't say "Who are we giving power to come July-1?"
Since Pachachi isn't the pick they can't say "The US & UN put Pachachi in, he's just a puppet for the US."
Let's sit back and watch Kerry and the lefties spin this.
New Iraqi government being 'sworn' in live on FoxNews now.
Thank you!
All Iraqi leaders. The good ones that is. Fear assassination by the death cultists. Assassination and explosives are the best friend the Jihadist psychos ever found. Can you imagine what these assassins would do with a few nukes at hand? Islamic war doctrine is all about cowardly killings via assassination. Explosives magnify the impact of assassinations that were once done with just a dagger and could kill only one at a time.
Fox now onto Social Security, flash to Iraq, back to advertising...... they have ADD.....
I heard the initial comments from Prime Minister Itad Allawi and President Ghazi al-Yawer on Fox & Friends this morning. Without raining on this parade, I must say, I was a bit disappointed in their flowing thanks to the UN and minimal (only a mention actually) recognition of the US for a new Iraq. Maybe it's just me.
At the end of the comments, one gentleman (can't recall who) stated there would not be a press conference as commanded. What's up with that?
Condi Rice is to have one in an hour or so Fox says.
They will do their best to encourage the continued violence by undermining the new government as too weak. Then they will blame GWB for 'cutting and running'.
Let's just hope that this wasn't a surprise to the administration, and is another example of 'strategery', to keep both the dims and the terrorists(I know, that may be redundant;-) off balance.
I got to see a replay of those Brits chasing a cheese down the hill... :-/
Don't forget about what LEVIN said on 4-29-04 ........
Senator LEVIN says Bush offered "to cut and run" in Iraq.(Senate floor)
Mr. LEVIN. Madam President, in the midst of the ongoing upsurge of the violence in Iraq, President Bush has offered two options for the United States. The first option is to stay the course; the second option is to cut and run. That is a false choice between staying the course and cutting and running. It is too typical of the black and white approach that this administration has repeatedly and unwisely taken.
I saw that....they spent more time on that than the Iraq swearing in ceremony....
Turned it off...
Levin is a slimy political hack!
Yup, that's what I was thinking about. The talking points have already been written.
